You cant really "Go commercial". For one the engine cant hold very many people one it, couple hundred at most (don't know if its changed in 3.0). Second is that he is using copy righted graphics so large amount of attention would not be the best thing and would be extremely hard to achieve with a 2d game. Though I give respect to Miguu, hes got a nice game.

About player capacity: EASY TO CHANGE. Just remove all the subs he doesn't use and bang, there goes the lag at 200 players.

Secondly, about the graphics; anyone is allowed to use breeze graphics in anyway so long as full credit is given to every staff member.

Its true! Just removing all the unnessary stuff for a player only release increased my fps stupendously!

Eg: i removed ALL the editors except for admin panel, which said please use admin client to edit.

As for the server, just removing some of the blts will increase possible player capacity by a lot.

@Tribal: Not exactly, dude. All of this depends on people's computer, and the resource usage, but the problem itself lies within the socket code in the server. It overloads too quickly and can't handle that many connections (like 45 max without distortion) The newer version's of eclipse have been upgraded to JetByte's c++ edit of a better ICOP socket but it still has it's issues. (this one might, MIGHT be able to handle 150 without problems) So yea, the problem isn't all just in removing memory usage.
