Drummerpete Posted January 31, 2009 Author Share Posted January 31, 2009 I started this a while ago but only got so far as planning…**STORYLINE:**_ In 2019, an experiment, to try and preserve a brain in a body until an extra host could be found, went horribly wrong.Part of the brain was destroyed, leaving only the desire to reproduce and feed. This lead to the subject, known as "Z", becoming what is commonly reffered to as a Zombie, or a Zed. The Zed's reproduce by infection, usually through saliva or blood. Zed developed a taste for meat, raw meat, so "Z" ate the first piece of meat that he could find. The doctors in the lab. Two of the doctors there were eaten alive, and four were infected. This was the start of 12 months of horror. The Zeds infected more than 99% of the world, leaving only a few cities left scattered throughout. Resources in the town are running scarce. There is a lack of food, water, weapons and medicine. People are needed to scout for resources and return it to the city, at which time rewards will be provided._**INFO:** The game is about The City, where you are safe from the zombies, however, they surround the city and the further you travel, the more there are. You can raid ruined cities for more resources and even meet people in other cities. The more resources you find, the higher the reward when you return it to the city.FEATURES: * Unique gameplay, * Different rates of fire for firearms, * 5 Main cities, and many more ruins to scavange. * When bitten you are rescued and sent back to your home city. You will lose a random stat point and between 5-10% of your coins.Because of school and such this will not be a heavy workload and will probably be slow production.I currently need the following: * Mapper - Experienced - Leave examples. * Scripter - I don't think I'm looking for anything too complicated. * Spriter - To make full sets of zombies and people. - Leave example. * GFX Artist - To help with Logos, GUIs and things like that. * Someone with knowledge of PHP - Just for signing up through websites and things like that.**If interested leave examples and your details.**If you require any more information just ask. azkanan Posted February 4, 2009 Share Posted February 4, 2009 I seem to have been sucked in by the 2000-2010 "Zombie Craze"… so this looked promising.I nearly asked to be a mapper, but, if you can't dedicate outside-school hours... then that's a shame.
