zade_o Posted March 16, 2009 Author Share Posted March 16, 2009 ok so I'm trying out a new style that I saw and loved where it seems like the grass is really just one color and then a hell-uva lot of addons are put on top like random shrubs and the likes.I know i need to get a bigger variety of shrubs ~~and I need to do all the corners for the dirt. I'm also planning on rounding the existing corners.~~(done)But anyways, how do you like this style? Do you think it could work with some more time put into it? That's completely custom and I have like 5 others that are custom so far >.< I'm just gonna stick with what i got haha. I might try making the tiles a bit darker once I have some more done. With trees and buildings and such you wouldn't see so much of the bright grass. But yeah the ground does look nice, I was thinking of a similar style myself after looking at different games… it is a versatile system, but don't you have to make quite a lot of specialized tiles for it?
