anasky
If I want to take the grid away, I have to go copy/pasting since it doesn't fit on 1 screen xDMind if I don't.Btw, to all of you.. yes, this is in RMXP, why?

Eclipse doesn't have grids.2\. Mapping using RMXP doesn't take much skill. Considering the terrain is auto-placed, with all transitions…

Alpha
It's in tileset 6 of the RMXP tileset that comes with Eclipse.-Alpha

Considering the terrain is auto-placed, with all transitions…I agree on the grid, but not on the no-skill thingy. There's no difference if you have the complete auto-tile in the tileset…

Soljah
Actually, a good mapper can do it just as quick, and make it seem more natural, and the way you actually want it.The fact is, If you use Eclipse, and miss out transition tiles, in which you would use in RMXP, then it makes the world of difference. anasky
IF you miss them…But if you just take the tileset, of course you add in the auto-tiles..I mean, it's just copy/paste a few.
Soljah
Yes, But Eclipse does not have the Auto-tile feature, which has its floors when mapping…
anasky
Not the auto-tiles, but you can open them up in RMXP, and copy/paste them in tiles0.bmp
ddunit
Lacks detail for a forest, needs more stuff ;)
Baron
@Soljah:> 1\. Eclipse doesn't have grids.Actually it does. If ytou open your map editor there is an option to enable grid which overlays a tile from tilesheet 10 IIRC that will look like a dotted grid. :)
anasky
Lol…I finally had a reply... and it isn't about my map xDBtw, it isn't in screenshot mode (and there isn't a character either)
Bobbus
Eh, the map is big, but really, really bland. Try adding a lot more bushes and natural things into it.
anasky
Ok, thanks :D
Admiral Refuge
Baron beat me to it on the grids (and you can even edit the grids in tiles10)Either way, this map looks pretty good… And hmm... Making the map in rmxp, then putting it in Eclipse? I never thought of that...
The GodFather
The Map needs more vegetation, it's kind of strange that there's a natural waterfall with no wild life around?
