Also yes its a pony tail not a Mohawk.Since you edited the from the base sprites why don't you just go one step further and give them custom heads, that's the one thing that threw me off a bit. Dont use the base head, make them look like they do in the cartoon and if not at least give them the right skin tone. I know that one kid on the left is a bit darker than the avatar. Yeah I was thinking about editing it a tad further for custom sprites, but I was more interested on getting the animations right (I've finished full animation of Avatar, front view of the fire bender).
