Godlord
@Marsh:> Here is the source for the item editor. Not really needed as it is pretty simple but if anyone wants to know how to read and write from input boxes etc. Maybe Godlord will come along and point out all the discrepancies in the code. Yes i know i should have used a Case statement instead of a if for the rarity :P.Kind of looked at the code (more like skimmed through the code) and the switch case/if-statements could probably be just an array as well. Problem is that I'm not really a fan of .net and that I don't really like looking at .net code either.Regards, Godlord.
Xavi
Marsh, this may have been mentioned earlier, but what compiler are you using, and are you planning on posting anything on the SVN? That would be interesting…
Marsh
Im using visual c++ 2008 Express. Its free from microsoft. As for the SVN not very likely at the moment, this is just a little hobby for me.
Chief
I can help with GUI and stuff like if you'd like.
Marsh
The game clients GUI is basically done not looking to change it right now. You could make some editor GUI's if you want but im just trying to get the bulk of the coding out of the way.

Well I guess as long as your making it for Windows, that compilers guaranteed to make something compatible.I probably wouldn't have made use of the SVN anyway, just curious. Xavi
Alright, here's the second draft.[http://www.freemmorpgmaker.com/files/imagehost/pics/c9bb6536863216e90516f206c145c583.png](http://www.freemmorpgmaker.com/files/imagehost/pics/c9bb6536863216e90516f206c145c583.png)As you can see, I made the save and exit buttons, but they are at the bottom, which I can change if you want, but I think it makes more sense. The paper is for where you would put all that data you had under the map number. I was not sure about the rest of it, so I left it blank. No use it putting a bunch of effort in to something when you don't even know if it will work. I got rid of the semi transparent TOOLS text, because it would just be obstructed by everything anyway.I suggest you make the attributes and maybe the layer selectors drop down lists for better use of space and ease of use. It would work especially well if you were planning on making layers like how they will be in SE 1.0, where you can add layers. If you have anything you want me to change or add, don't hesitate to ask.-Xavi

demon xxx x
Marsh, just thinking, as I'm working on a converter for maps(EE > E.NET is what Im doing first) you should try and do that too (EE > E++), once everything is ready, you know?
