ilpoonu Posted February 24, 2010 Author Share Posted February 24, 2010 Now that i searched on the forums a bit more i have found exact or similar cases … which didn't get solved.The thing is that you just cannot connect with the Eclipse client - You cannot make new accounts and you cannot Login.Here is a little screen of it.http://yfrog.com/5aproblemwljIt will stay like it shows on the picture for hours and hours ... Forever.But It only happens with the newer versions ... for example i can Use EE 2.5 but most if not all servers are running on newer versions and that is the reason i want to get the newer version working.>What i have done so far<*Reinstalled*Downloaded Libary files 3 times (different installers)*Disabled my Firewall*Tried to solve the problem with Hotspot Shield Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

azkanan Posted February 24, 2010 Share Posted February 24, 2010 Is it a server running your pc, or another games?If the server is running on your pc, put in 127.0.0.1 in the IP Config, rather than the other IP. The other IP (182.142.56.23, or something looking like this) is what **other** people use to connect to your server - you use 127.0.0.1.:) Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

ilpoonu Posted February 24, 2010 Author Share Posted February 24, 2010 does it matter? i tried several , checked them all with the status checker all were online.1 was cartoon something … other was something with hats ... the third was a mix of tibia and runescape and then there was another one...i still got only 1 left ... which is Legends of AtheriaIP:173.88.149.149PORT:888-I hope someone knows how to get the client working. Marsh Posted February 25, 2010 Share Posted February 25, 2010 I would make sure that you are entering the ports and ip correctly. Robin Posted February 25, 2010 Share Posted February 25, 2010 You can't connect to different games with the same client.Eclipse Stable is an open-source project you can build a game off.If you want to connect to someone else's game made with Stable you need to download the client they release in their subforum.
