Router Problem

Hey guys, I have just bourght a shiney new wireless router and I want to use it. At the moment I am using a dial-up modem. I want to know how I can make it so I can use the my internet through the  router. I have installed the drivers and all that stuff. Can anyone help.

P.S. I'm back, many of you may have not noticed I left. My computer broke. :(

i wasn't aware you could use dial up with a router…

You can, I used to do it before but then that router broke. And I don't know the guy that set it up anymore.

Why do you want to exactly?

to use Eclipse just dont port forward it will work fine.

You get dailup through your phone cable not a ethernet.

Ok.. i think this should work.

So you have a dial up modem with a phone in and Ethernet out?

Connect dial up phone line - modem - router
Now go into router and look for something about:  Does your internet provider require authentication?
Select yes.

Now set the username and password for your dial up….. 
That worked once before for me.

Sorry if I did not explain this enough. My phone line goes into the modem then my modem is linked to my PC via USB. I connect to my wireless router with a wireless USB adapter. But I can't get internet on my xbox which is plugged into my router via ethernet.

I havn't had dialup since I was like 6, sorry for forgetting.
