Battle Monsters Mobile. (Also looking for pixel artists{Paid})

**BattleMonsters**
Battle Monsters is a game created by me using C# and the XNA library. So far several features have been done. It will be available on the Windows Phone 7 platform and possibly windows too. I then plan to port it to other phone operating systems.

**Features:-**
Battle System - The battle system is done. Pretty much everything works that I can think of. It uses good accurate formulas for damage calculation and catch monsters etc.

A tile system - This is done, including animated tiles and walls and roofs "Dropping down" when walking inside a building.

Walking - 100% done always keeps in sync.

Support for any amount of monsters. The game supports any amounts of monsters. And new one cans be added easily.

Chat: Chat is fully functional using my own custom control with multiline text etc.

Your idea? - If you have any nice input regarding features including current and possible future ones feel free to tell me.

As you can see here the GUI misses some off the bottom and needs a total redesign.

What we need:
Pixel artists (paid): Probably more then one, I need characters doing, tiles and unique monsters. There will all be paid for per design done which we will talk about prices.
GUI artist (paid): Preferably someone who has worked on a touch GUI before (Although not necessary)

Yeah I should probably round that up. And the GUI will be changes of course it is, excuse my French, fuck ugly. Its just being put like that for testing, like seperate attacks work using the correct forumlas.

Edited screenshots with newer ones, the party information scrolls up and down so it doesn't cover the screen.

Few other things coded in the background like right click menu,offering to battle, battle system implemented into the full game instead of a seperate project.

Just added support for paperdoll of course they don't like very pokémony ;D and I don't have a player to put underneath so that will do for now.

Whats wrong with it :(

But yeah I know its ugly and it will be changed, most of it is just for testing right now, the game is currently undergoing a recode by my partner :D So I'm just coding in a few little things here and there.

**Pokémon Online is Dead**

Well I haven't updated in a while, but I have been working A LOT this week.

Anyways the game is no longer Pokémon, too many copyright worries, so we are doing a game similar to pokémon with custom monsters, tile and sprites which I am paying for out of my own pocket.

The current name is "Battle Monsters" but we are VERY open to any name ideas.

Current example of a monster :) The controls and feel will be similar to pokémon but thinks can be customised so we can add ridable mounts things like that.

The recode is going well, walking will be done tomorrow after that the source will be handed to me to be made messy with lots of new features that I can rip from my old client then improve :)

I suppose the biggest thing is that it also a browser game too.

Here we go kids, thats the newest build so far.

Menus, scrolling maps etc. A lot of work has been doine in the background which isn't evident yet (e.g. paperdoll is done but no sheets, all the monster data).

We are still waiting on our custom gfx but Konsty is a busy man and I try not to annoy him TOO much :P

After a little hiatus due to lack of motivation, partner not having a laptop and some other stuff (working wayyy to much lately) not a lot of work has been done. But I have got some motivation and been coding anyway and its what I have done, the new battle gui is now fully coded, attacking works (and much more effiecently the old serverside code for that was so wrong) you can also now change monsters with any in your party providing it has hp and automatically sends out the first monster that isn't fainted.
The battle log is 80% done, does everything so far except scroll, but as writing this I figued out and incredibly easy way of doing it based on my code (i made it nice and easy) so that should be able to scroll up and down.

Thats it for now, might look into wild battle tomorrow and exp.

Also the hp and levels and stuff aren't final, just numbers I entered into the database( remember everything is dynamic so I can edit something in the database and it shall be done in game :) )
