Gamer Antivirus?

Well my free 1 year subscription of Webroot just expired(7 months early, I'll kick the Best Buy manager's ass for that later). So I activated Norton which was already installed on the computer. But of course Norton is a piece of shit antivirus.

So, does anybody know what antivirus is good for gaming? Preferably a free one because I have Christmas presents to pay for.

Malwarebytes Anti-Malware.

You shouldn't need an antivirus that runs all the time in the background; if you do, you need to change your computer usage habits.

And yes I know. It's just that those "Your computer is not protected" messages that pop up in the middle of the game are annoying as hell.

Then turn off the messages.

Run MBAM from time to time and don't go Googling for CP. I haven't used an active AV in years and I've never had a problem.

Personally, I use AVG but I've been using Avira on my laptop and that one has proved really effective, fast and efficient.

AVG free is pretty good.

I use fre avg and malwarevytes. Most of the time I go bareback tho.

Open windows system security manager and disable the virus/firewall/updates warning
