( C&C Please ! ) First Graphics

These are the graphics I have worked on for two days now for my game ( Blue Universe ). So far I have yet to complete a female sprite ( which is why there is only Male in pictures )

Could I get some C&C please!

( I am already planning on changing the character's face )

I like them. They look alot like fantasy online. The trees could be a little bigger.

The tiles kind of remind me of pokemon tiles, just with a little darker tone colors

I think the trees need something more though. Maybe make them a little bigger and bushier.

characters size is too big when comparing it to your map… trees could be better i guess

The tree trunks need more shading.

The character's side view needs to be larger (he's paper thin?).

The trees are a bit small compared to the trunks. They look a bit out of shape to.

Yeah the trunks either need to be thinned or the trees need to be expanded. Or perhaps a mixture of both!

Palette is nice, did you choose the colors yourself?

The water need reflection lines.

Some trees look like Pine, some don't.

Either shrink the character or expand the trees.

Houses could be boosted nearly double in height.

With those aside, it's a rather nice color blend and style. Congrats to a good start.

Yes the trees are quite small . I will be making more variant trees

Character side view is very skinny ; ` ; I am still playing with it, but he looks much more odd when I make his body larger. ( this is the first time I've ever done Characters before )

Absolutely.

As you see now, your water is just a bland color.

If you had some kind of water lines to give it a motion or animation, it would look alot better.

For instance, here's an example from Pokemon.

It's a very popular style in retro games, I think the size of the trees in comparison to the characters is spot on.
