  1. Elysium's speech editor was very weak. I coded one with tons more capabilities in Sadscript. You can find it as "Conversation System" in the Script Database.
  2. I don't know about practical limitations, but an array is limited to 2,147,483,647 elements. I'd say you'd be able to resize it to whatever you need it to be. Your computer will crash before you even get close to overshooting the boundary. As for that code, you'd not only change that, but wherever else the map size is handled. I'm sure there's several other places where the map size is limited, namely in the map's type structure in modTypes.
  3. Does anyone play Battle for Wesnoth? Beau recently showed me this game, and I absolutely love it. Not only is it a sound turn-based strategy game, but it also provides an editor that people have used to make tactical RPG style adventures, where you lead a small band of heroes on a dungeon trek. On top of that, everything is wonderfully done. The graphics are all very nicely done. The particle effects used for some spells are wonderfully animated. My favourite part by far, though, is the music. I'm unsure if they are original compositions or not, but their collection of game tracks really sets the mood, and has quickly made its impression. If you haven't played it, give it a try. There's tons of mods for it, all downloadable from within the game client, so there's endless opportunities. It allows multiplayer on a single computer, LAN play, direct connection play, or matchmaking on their official server, so whether you like single player, team play, or head-to-head matches, there's probably a niche in Wesnoth for you. 4. @Helladen: > Ew. Hannibal. Besides we're not considered animals. Even though that's debatableā€¦ ![](http://livingromcom.typepad.com/my_weblog/images/agent_smith_poses04.jpg) Humans are a virusā€¦ I'd have to say I don't really have a favourite meat. It depends on how it's served. Also, I've not really tried anything out of the ordinary.
  5. He says that in the first post. @silentdemonic: > You will be able to have a subdomain such as websitename.c2f.me and will be given cpanel access as well.
  6. @SoiWilliamSoi: > Renzo >.>, nice pun ass. Fleshlightman thought I was a ducking girl forever, even though my name says WILLIAM. Haha. William is both a male and female name, dude, like Jesse, Taylor, or John.
  7. You know what they say: "Selling people is 100% profit" .> Anyhow, congrats on graduating. I graduated last year and have liked the freedom, but do miss a lot of my friends and such.
  8. Besides Final Fantasy II (IV) tiles, I'd say no.
  9. What happens if you get a guy pregnant?
  10. I let someone borrow it, never heard from them again, and never finished it. ='(
  11. Yeah, it's crazy. The reason EO doesn't have its own board, though, is because it is basically the new Eclipse. It's not some special engine that is contained to one area. Development on Stable is coming to a close, and Solar Eclipse isn't out yet, so that just leaves Origins as the current main engine. But I do understand your point. At times I wish it'd be more organized. I'm dreading the thought of having Solar Eclipse, Origins, and past versions all being troubleshooted in the same board somewhere in the future. It's gonna get messy, folks.
  12. You might want to consider posting the non-bug things in a thread like the http://www.touchofdeathforums.com/smf/index.php/topic,58872.0.html. They are slightly different than just "wishes", of course, so maybe a new thread about user-friendly things might be handy. Dunno. > **Walking from one map to another.** > Problem: When I walk from one map to another it will jump me 1 tile further lower/higher than its ment to if the map size is set to its lowest setting. Believe it or not, this isn't a bug. The maps load so much faster than the awful old system, it appears as if you jump ahead, but you don't. The load time is so short, you just continue walking. If you lightly tap the arrow key at the edge of a map, you'll see that it is possible to not walk ahead on the next map.
  13. Oh wow, Azkanan. I laughed so hard at your evil face. xD
  14. Heroes of Might and Magic
  15. That's what I do. Any edits I've done with EO thus far have been self contained, so all I need to do is import the module, then paste over a few lines. Makes it much easier to share, too.
  16. Well, at least I didn't get scribbled on.
  17. @YamYam: > I love you for that.. I always get confused because some engines twist left and right around? > > Also, why is there a need for a check to see if the player is moving? I mean worst he could do is run in circles. ;D If you change direction mid-move, I imagine you'd do some weird sideways slide, not run in circles. That actually sounds really neat. I'm gonna try it. xD Edit: Aww, no fun. It just jerks you around. =(
  18. The tutorial's included in the source code, when I release it. I went through and numbered, so all you have to do is follow along. Searching "Winsock1", then "Winsock2" etc. will show you all the steps I did. :)
  19. I meant for you to just preview it, but this works too, I guess. xD
  20. I got rid of those before I put Winsock in. ;D And duly noted.
  21. > Bollocks is a word of Anglo-Saxon origin, meaning "testicles". The word is often used figuratively in British English, as a noun to mean "nonsense", an expletive following a minor accident or misfortune Google, sir.
  22. [Yes and it was awful.](http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0406728/)
  23. I posted D&D a while back. In fact, "Doom" was the response to that. xD Dungeons and Dragons 2: Wrath of the Dragon God
