  1. @Adulese: > So I'm … back. At least, I am going to try to be a bit more active from now on. This has to have been most least active year to date. So yeah, hi all. XD > > Warm Regards, > Adulese > > EDIT: Oh and a slight update, I have finally moved out on my own and am living with two room-mates in a former 5-star-hotel-turned-flats. We're getting far to close to being the Big Bang Theory over here ... WB Adulese!
  2. @Anonymious: > Whaha "This" hyperlink, no it is not.. > If you just had the brains in the size of an atom, you would understand it. > And I have no doubt that your brains are larger than an atom, at least two times larger. Technically our brains are 99.999% vacuum, right down to each level of a particles existence. Take this vacuum away, and our brains become a condensed singularity that is so small it couldn't even be seen by a microscope.
  3. Your welcome :cheesy: ![](http://www.freemmorpgmaker.com/files/imagehost/pics/1d06bb43c60dafdbfbfc46a29d862629.png)
  4. @Admiral: > So, Jon and I got to see Ron Paul last Saturday, I'm in the middle: > ![](http://www.freemmorpgmaker.com/files/imagehost/pics/0394bf0980b51978ca5c97a21248ae97.jpg) > I still dislike how I look when I'm shaved, though. Side note: LOL, I just noticed, Jon is holding his copy of the Constitution while shaking Dr. Paul's hand – how rightfully fitting XD
  5. @Bonk: > It's also a well known fact that Hadrian's wall was built by Emperor Hadrian. The apostrophe is a _slight_ giveaway. Because we all know that apostrophes can be implied in verbal speech… ...also, correct me if I am wrong, but can’t possessive form apply to cities or countries as well as people? (haven't watched the video, so not quite sure what's going on in here)
  6. @DrNova: > There are ZERO poloticians lefty with integrity. American politics is a broken system because of the incompitent people running the show. > I dont know much about him in particular, but I've hear enough talk and then seen the outcome to know how it works. > > Talk nice all you want, but untill you can get BOTH PARTIES to work TOGETHER, and get RID of corporate interests and lobbyists, your just another cog in a broken machine. This conversation can be continued here: http://www.touchofdeathforums.com/smf/index.php/topic,75735.0.html
  7. >Steve Jobs is dead. And the Chinese children in Apple Slave Labor Camps everywhere celebrate :D
  8. @DrNova: > I am sorry you only got to meet a republican, but still cool :) Dude, Ron Paul is my hero man – seems like the last politician left with any integrity (he even cured my Apathy :>). And don't let the "R" fool you -- other Republican politicians can't stand him since he's not only more left on foreign policy than Obama, but he's usually always calling them out. Democrats have even started a "[Blue Republican](http://www.huffingtonpost.com/robin-koerner/blue-republicans-an-idea-_b_897405.html)" movement to counter the GOP's aggression against him. EDIT: He's also the only person in politics I could stomach being near; I cringe at the site of Perry and Romney, and I'm no longer a fan of our current President, especially after Libya and Anwar.
  9. So, Jon and I got to see Ron Paul last Saturday, I'm in the middle: ![](http://www.freemmorpgmaker.com/files/imagehost/pics/0394bf0980b51978ca5c97a21248ae97.jpg) I still dislike how I look when I'm shaved, though.
  10. @à ¦™à §wà ¦à ¦¨à §à ¦¡à ¦²à ¦¿à ¦¨à §: > one of the Eclipse memes is my avatar. That was a true Eclipse meme indeed. Didn't someone set up a random-avatar generator for those? @Alexander: > Robin.Category = Category.Troll; You used the color Teal; I respect you for that.
  11. There's plenty of Eclies memes floating around, I'm sure some of them could be dug up and posted here.
  12. @Captain: > Why the hell would _anyone_ create an entire **2D** game in assembly? That is retarded. http://win32assembly.online.fr/winsock.html ;D EDIT: **[Also, this](http://www.easycode.cat/English/index.htm)**.
  13. @Lady: > That's assuming Eclipse C even comes. I haven't heard squat from that project in months. Nothing to say; the core library is still being created, and once it's finished, the actual engine should take a short amount of time to complete.
  14. Troll me once, shame on you. Troll me twice, shame on me. Grey is dead, we all know that. EDIT: Then he turned into a freaking crumpet
  15. Bleach was good for the first few seasons, sucked for awhile, picked up near the end, then crashed and burned – hard. Dragonball Z was, and still is, my favorite.

  17. Can't compare apples and oranges like that. So I went with Stephan's choice.
  18. @Soul: > If you suggest we just screw users every time we get an error we'll end up with nobody at all. I'm suggesting we just screw IE9 users every time there is an error for them; if anything, we'd end up with no IE9 users, or more new people switching to Firefox, Chrome, et al. after posting a topic such as this one. In school, I'm currently using this [pointless] SAM Learning Software; it's a browser-based teaching software for my Excel class: http://sam2010.course.com/ On that website, they have a side article when you log in, teaching users how to switch to Compatibility Mode in Internet Explorer, otherwise the grading system will not work. So before classe, we have to go into the properties in IE9, and set compatibility mode for course.com.
  19. What's a CTD? Sounds like some sort of Crystalshire-related sexually transmitted desease…
  20. I'm with Robin on this, screw the IE users; we shouldn't have to take the extra step (not matter how small) just because Microsoft doesn't know how to conform to standards. EDIT: And whenever I'm at college, I have to switch to compatibility mode, since all they have is IE9, and I don't feel like putting Firefox on a usb stick (it's bad enough I have to go into the "International" settings and change my keyboard layout to dvorak every time I log in)
  21. I MISS TOMBSTONES N' TUMBLEWEEDS…. That community game was the one that got the furthest -- it was revived like, three times, but still never got too far. EDIT: But yeah, this topic comes up at least a few times per year.
  22. @S.J.R.: > I have eleven teachers, and two guides all saying that GNU/Linux is what you should use for academic programming in C, albeit Microsoft Windows supporting it, it takes a lot more work to get it working (you have to install Microsoft Visual Studio, set up a project for C89, add C-files, etc.), whereas with GNU/Linux you just use your favourite editor, the terminal, Make and gcc (which is constant switching between your editor and the terminal, where you type your few simple commands to see your results). > > I, myself, even go a step further, and encourage GNU/Linux for programming in C in general. > > Yours faithfully > Stephan. It may be a licensing thing. My college recommended using MSVC (despite the hoops I had to go through) until my second course, where my "anti-microsoft" professor said to drop it in favor of GCC.
  23. @crzy: > Although the teacher just emailed us today asking that we use windows for she said it was easier. Creating an executable on linux: * Type: gcc myprogram.c -o myprogram Creating a executable on windows. * Create a new MSVC project (or solution, I forget) * Attach your source files to MSVC project, or create a new file (File->New->Source File? Then go through the wizard to create the file, and copy/paste your code into the file) * Build the application in MSVC * Get confused at the linker's warnings, telling you to use microsoft's version of printf() instead of C89's version * Compile application; you'll have to mess with the settings if you want to control where it puts your executable, otherwise it's probably in one of the sub-folders for your project; you'll find it eventually… But yeah, if you grab ubuntu, you can actually install it side-by-side with windows, and duel-boot.
