  3. The problem is that with ctrl it shows the animation perfectly and i can hit twice it still give damage to the monster , but when i use the hotbar spell by right click on the monster and hitting the number (1,2,3 …) it does the animation and show : -0 damage to the monster using the spell ..

Hey guys ! **Engine used :** **EA** **DX** : **8** **Problem :** **i Created a weapon i added animation i created … when i target a monster and i attack using the hotbar it just show me the name of the spell twice and make no damage to monsters . Giving him all the problems that the engine have (like you said excessive use of longs etc…) it's a good idea maybe he didn't know about that let him some time to optimise it ![;)](http://www.touchofdeathforums.com/community/public/style_emoticons//wink.png) Btw : when you open client or server in vb6 then you go in the proprieties (compile tab) you have : compile as p-code / Compile as native code by default is "p-code" checked , if we check "native code" it show options like : compile for fast code , small code etc... that wouldn't give an optimisation? here a picture i got from google : ![](http://www.holmea.demon.co.uk/Profiler/IMG/Project.gif)

Features? ![:P](http://www.touchofdeathforums.com/community/public/style_emoticons//tongue.png) - character creation by choosing one of the differents pictures (able to edit it) that show warrior , magician or anything like that - Easy editor for spell scalling by job , by weapon , etc … with differents attacks scalling with the stats - Evoluting pet system explain here: So you have a pet , when you kill monsters for example a bird that give you +5xp then after killing like 45 birds it add 45x5xp to the character and just give +10 exp to the pet (something like that) - Spell window with spells upgrading: You reach level 10 for warrior then spell window popup and add the spells from the level 10 to the char and you increase each spells with points (for spell) and each upgrades give unique increases for example : Blade energize ; level 1 upgrade = + 2 damage with any sword level 2 upgrade = +5 damage with any sword i'm out of ideas ![:P](http://www.touchofdeathforums.com/community/public/style_emoticons//tongue.png) lolz And please don't forget dx8 engines :/ thanks in advance

I mean in general when you host your server you're not going to stare at the server computer through an RDP all day. +1 That's true i forgot about that You can do it as Joyce said , or maybe make an .exe acount editor that connect to the server

  19. Oh by the way i forgot to ask : How can i export my maps and things to the new EA? because when i just copy paste that don't work anymore (maybe due to the changes of event etc ? )

  22. > The DX8 in this is ripped from CS:DE which had very blantant CPU/Memory issues, having to deal with the way textures were loaded and stored. There is a lot of engine modifications that could be made to cut this down by half easily. Apparently Deathbeam continue to make updates to EA so it's possible that maybe he do theses changes .. But i need to know one thing : so is there many versions of dx8?? i
