I had to think about the whole level cap thing for a while and at first i disagreed but really it makes sense. you'd be able to release the game much earlier and players wouldnt reach the cap before more content was released anyway so it'd be like they're chasing you. i like it and i might borrow the stealth thing if you dont mind

    > I just don't see why people would go through the trouble if they have a full customized engine why would they switch to another one just cause its the "official" and there might be stuff in yours they don't want. thats just it though they wouldnt bother to convert and nobody is forcing anybody to convert. Currently i dont see why anyone who wasnt already using EW would suddenly decide to. EW being the official engine of eclipse does not add any new features to the engine. maybe in the future though when the community has provided feedback and the engine has been updated but for now there's little drive to convert.

  6. instead of having shields give a % to block id like to use more of a zelda like shield.. that would entirely block incoming ranged or melee damage (at least from the direction being faced) using the block ability would cost a large amount of energy so you dont have to worry about people spamming it.. and such. but id need it to react pretty quickly. maybe like half a second or so.. would this be difficult for the server to do? lets assume the server is optimal

  13. its a great cave tileset but it does look pretty living forest in there.. to me its looks as if i could walk south and exit the cave because sunlight is pouring in making the plants grow more there

  16. Not sure if this is anything but I know almost all of the pay to play minecraft servers are "donations" and the rewards for these donations are "thankyous" I dont know if they do that to get around needing a license or if thats just so they dont have to give out refunds

If you're going by a specific section of SAO such as the second arc (since it doesn't involve perma death) then make that clear. But Gun gale and the first Arc both involve death that would have to be carried over to an mmorpg as perma death to work. To be fair you can get max level in ROTMG in a few hours and its really a bullet hell with the skin of a rpg. its a shooting game. you arent banned when you die and you keep all items you had stored in your chests as well as prestige points acrewed from success in past lives. not really perma death or hardcore just a setback like losing exp for dying. He's also decided to not go with the name SAO btw. you missed a post

  25. its instantly recognizable but the softness of the shading makes it look to me like something molded out of modelling clay.
