Rob I tried updating the game but every time the updater ends it shows the message: "Run-time error '5' : Invalid procedure call or argument", any ideas?

Do you mean Eclipse Stable? Because if you are we are not suppose to help you this an Eclipse Origins forum. I would defiantly recommend you to download it. It is much better than stable by any means. If this is EO then either make the npc a shop keeper or add a bunch of blocks around it.

It's pretty hard to choose, there completely different operating system. I guess it just depends what your using it for. For hard coding and more business stuff I recommend Ubuntu Linux. Other than that get windows 7.
