  1. @Rawrz: > I loled when i saw the merrimint sprites that you obviously stole and ripped. Mods please lock. He did small edits of the weapons I made for Merrimint. If he wants to claim them, then so be it. But, the people that hire him for their project, be warned.
  2. @IdoFreePixel: > Good start, now remove those green(Grass) lines and add in blades of grass. I agree with IFP. DO blades of grass. It will make it a lot better. But it looks good overall, and you didn't do the generic rectangular dirty path; so I give you props for that one.
  3. Very nice. I admire this design.
  4. Perspective and structure are nice. I would add a light source? Put more effort, and draw out the bricks. Nice for a first go at it.
  5. Sorry for not responding. I have currently accepted an offer. I will open this to topic back up, if my trial period expires. Thank you.
  6. Your pillow shading the entire weapon. That's why it doesn't look real. Try looking at a regular blade and use it as a reference. Another thing is color, experiment with different colors. Try saturating it.
  7. @Kemerd: > Maybe a beta tester. > > Nope. Newest Edition: Different Armor Sets! ![](http://img217.imageshack.us/img217/9000/42059904.png) > Bronze Set Leather Set Your leather armor set, looks heavier than your bronze armor set. The leather set looks more like a metal, Mithril; I think thats what they call it.
  8. Looks like a good deal. I'll have to get at you on this one. Nice stuff so far.
  9. @Nayte: > Wow! I know this isnt a show off kinda deal, but those looks wicked man, honestly. Good work! Thanks Nayte, I really appreciate it.
  10. Lets start this off right. I am looking for a team to join. The idea of the game doesn't have to be created yet, or even on paper. I want to start something fresh, and willing to put a few hours a week into creating something special. There are countless innovative idea's I have, just floating in my mind right now. Mostly, I am aiming for someone that can code extremely well in VB6, can use correct grammar and spelling, remain professional no matter what, and can bring as much as possible to the table as I can. Another thought, even if you can't code in VB6, a artist at the same level as me; may even be considered. Here are a few examples of my work: Human (1 Frame) ![](http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v281/UkyoMetro/human-spt.png) Tileset (Shizu Legends) ![](http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v281/UkyoMetro/screenshot1.png) GUI (Avarol) ![](http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v281/UkyoMetro/avarol-new-gui.png) Pistol (Animation) ![](http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v281/UkyoMetro/gun-animation.gif) A Sheet of Swords (Merrimint) ![](http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v281/UkyoMetro/merrimint_weapons1.png) A Sheet of Potions (Merrimint) ![](http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v281/UkyoMetro/merrimint_potions.png) 32x32 Doors ![](http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v281/UkyoMetro/doors.png) Wooden Sword (All directions) ![](http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v281/UkyoMetro/scribbyz_wooden-work-sword.png) Two completed Bows ![](http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v281/UkyoMetro/npulse_ukyo_weapon-bow-crepus-oak.png) ![](http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v281/UkyoMetro/npulse_ukyo_weapon-bow-lucent-redwood.png) Stairs, Chest, and a Box ![](http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v281/UkyoMetro/random-stuff-1.png) Just a few things, don't wanna flood this thread with my work. If your interested, please contact me via PM or Email. Thank you.
  11. Looks pretty sweet. Reminds me of Ragnarok. And a turned based RPG would be a change of pace.
  12. Definitely should do a Halo Reach Tournament. And when Gears of War 3 comes out in September, we should have one for that. I currently sold Gears of War 2, but I was fairly decent. Gamertag: DJ Scribbyz
  13. I've always wanted a to be a part of a little pony fan site. So this is an epic win for me. One million cool points to Robin!
  14. I just ran across this last night. I love Elder Scrolls, I still play both Morrowind, and Oblivion.
  15. Scribbyz

    New record.

Lookin good, I got money. Keep us posted.
  16. Still looking good. Its good to see a "Show Off" thread actually progressing, and well, might I add.
  17. Nice work Andi. I really enjoy the perspective. Theres something about the trees that just don't work. I like how they're made, simple. Can't wait to see what else you come up with.
  18. Looks great. I also like the character mock-ups you guys have for this, it really works with the whole look.
  19. @Chief: > It wasnt just for you, Azyru didnt know, dont be so egotistical, lol. > > Also, you need hight hue shifts, I can barely see any at all in your works. My fault, it was originally directed at me. I will take your suggestion into consideration. Thank you.
  20. @Chief: > ![](http://img143.imageshack.us/img143/2523/hueshift.png) > this is hue shifting. > > The example on the left just stays one hue, shifting only the lightness of it. > The example on the right is hue shifting. when you go from darker to lighter, you shift the hue as well to achieve better lighting, and more realistic colouring. Are you serious…? Look what I just said. "Hue shifting is moving from one color to another, as well as, changing the shade." Only difference is, I didn't use "lightness" I used shade. I didn't use "hue" I used color. :/
  21. @Lukin: > Maybe you could make small strands of grass coming up from in between the rocks near the transition, so it looks like it's growing at the edges and not just suddenly end. As for the color on the stones, first one. They rocks aren't final, just kind of a fill in. But they are going to look similar, just better shading and transitions. But I will keep that in mind when I make the finals. Thank you for your input. @Azyru: > First one is more of a smooth kind of sandy path (with some stones of course), and the third is like a mild kind of (dried) mud path. Those were my too choices of the best ones I see what your saying, I might use the second color for the inside of a cave. But thats in the future.
  22. @Chief: > lol, you dont even understand what hue shifting is. Hue shifting is moving from one color to another, as well as, changing the shade. What do you think hue shifting is?? O.o
  23. @Chief: > The colors are too… retro, lol. I like it a lot, but maybe play with some hue shifting some more. What should I lean towards? Red? Yellow? Right now I am sitting in a saturated orange. I messed with the hues, just not a lot.
  24. Okay, now after I have received feedback on the colors of the cliff/grass/water tiles. I need your suggestion on the ground tile colors. If you don't like any of them, then please state why, and what I could do to make them better, color-wise. ![](http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v281/UkyoMetro/ground-tiles.png) Thank you, and all suggestions will go into consideration.
