I understand why many people like this 'custom version', but it's not a good engine, yes it has many features and you can easily make a great game with it, but the whole point of an engine is to provide the basics for the game, like the networking and graphics stuff. And when you look at Eclipse Reborn as an engine its bad, it has way too much features that not every game will have and almost every feature is not optimized and has bugs.   7. I don't know if you already have more time to work on DW, but I found out that the screenshot function isn't working, it only saves a black image.
  8. He is still sometimes on the forums, I even saw him posting a few days ago. He's just too busy with his job and Crystalshire. And he quit out of EO because it was 'finished' in his oppinion I believe, or he got sick of people stealing his work without crediting.

Second is better, its like asking: "Will 3 eggs be more expensive than one?" ![:P](http://www.touchofdeathforums.com/community/public/style_emoticons//tongue.png) I'll explain why it's better: First option sends 2 packets, with almost no extra client work. Second option sends 1 packet, but the client has to do some extra work (the Select Case's), but the user won't notice because that's done pretty fast.
  18. Download a copy of a clear [engine name] you're using, and then search for AddProgress, copy/paste the whole sub into your client which gets the error.

  21. Server will defenitely work, for client I think you need WINE or it probably doesn't work at all, but I haven't tested client on VM.
