Marsh Posted November 26, 2012 Author Share Posted November 26, 2012 Looking for some pixel artists to recreate some traditional super Nintendo graphics. I am recreating harvest moon in c++. If i get far enough in the project the game will be online. Game is being built from scratch so it will take some time.I need to have custom graphics so that it can actually be released on the web and not be shut down immediately. At its essence it will be a online farm game. Users will be able to work on other peoples farms to earn cash. You will be able to upgrade your farm, house and more. There will be a town where you can sell your farm goods like hay and wheat. If you are familiar with the game you cannot grow hay in the winter so it is a much needed commodity. Players will be able to buy shops to set up in town or just list items on the local auction house.This is harvest moon at the base, but it will be a completely player driven economy in every way. If you are interested in creating some graphics please apply here or pm me. The team will most likely stay at a pixel artist, programmer and Graphic Designer for the GUI. If the project is continued successfully a website will be made and advertising will be provided. At this point it is much to early to see where the game will go. But if you are interested in applying please let me know.While this is just a fun indie project, only high quality work will be accepted. I have a few people i can reach out to for graphics if i need to. Would be nice to have a actual team member though.I have only put about 2 days of work into the game so far. But i have the map loading and basic animations setup. You can currently dig and plant seeds. Working on crop growing next.Not much to see yet but if you want to know if any work has been done. The screenshot is full of debug info that wont be in the final product obviously.
