abhi2011
Why aren't resource files used in Eclipse? I have never used them, but from what I read they seem to be faster than normal.**What are resource files?**These files pack all the necessary game files into another file with ext .res. VB6 can retrieved pictures, .INIs and stuff from this file. Something like encryption.

lollicat
Do you mean the .rar files full of tilesets? If so, we have them posted all over the resources section. I'm pretty sure _someone_ uses them.If that's not what you mean, you might want to explain what a resource pack is.

PD
If you're going to be using RES files just make sure that they ain't to big. Like don't stick the whole graphics folder into a RES file ![:P](http://www.touchofdeathforums.com/community/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/tongue.png)
dimx
You can do something like this.http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=X4mdKN81Reo&feature=youtu.beThe problem is if you have huge game files it will take more time to extract all files and run them. But what this does is it compresses all of the game files into one executable when you run the game it will extract all of he files into your temp directory and run them from there when you restart your PC those files get deleted by default.
