JoshKlaz
Which expansions are required? :(
xeross
You can specify yourself if you want TBC enabled or not but i think the registration is bugged so you can't register.I'll check once im on a normal computer instead of my server

JoshKlaz
Erm, with private servers it doesn't let you choose. I used to create servers with Mangos, and it would come up with an error on the client if you had the wrong version installed. Unless you make multiple servers with different options? That'll take a bit of skill and a LOT of bandwidth.
xeross
it only works with the newest client, either Normal or TBC just use the checkbox on the registration form
JoshKlaz
Erm, but you have to own the expansion, and install that client, don't you? :/
xeross
you have to install the normal client to play without tbc and the tbc client to play tbc yes

JoshKlaz
But what I'm wondering is, will your server be TBC or not?
Grayfox
Dude, you don't get it. you can choose either one. If you have the expansion choose TBC if you don't, then don't choose TBC. Thats pretty simple…
xeross
I see some people registered, Does it work ?Edit: Danz en Sephiroth where on it so it works, i should start advertising soon, if we always have some people online it's more fun
Klanz_online
do i have to register wow, pay monthly and stuff sti.ll?
Gwen
*sighNo on private servers you do not have to pay montly fees… unless he decided to make it P2P but that would defeat the purpose of a private wow server. You just install WoW... change one of the ini files to point to his server... register on his site, and enjoy free wow... Gwen
thanks for the input! it really contributes a lot to this thread.Private servers have advantages and disadvantages, but if people will and want to play why not.
