I've mapped 6 months or less and mines look better…Closer to Soljahs than those maps will ever be...

No one maps 3 years and looks like THAT, Also if you have mapped 3 years and just found Eclipse then you must have been mapping an underground game that never quite got...above ground.

When people flame you like this, it's because you implied that you were a very experienced; great mapper with 3 years on his belt… When you post actual screens, it's not very smart to lie about something like this because it's bluntly obvious that you're not 3 years good. Just improve your maps with more detail and more fluidity (curve mountains and builds should not be 100% symmetrical) and most important, DONT LIE. lol

Your maps are very symmetrical and no focal points are used to jab at the viewers attention.

Ok, this thread had way to many blatant flames. Most of this thread was/will be deleted.

Makal, the maps you show do not reflect on someone who is an "experienced mapper" – they are very basic and amatuerish at best. They are serviceable, sure, but you really should improve before you start actively looking for projects.

Or, as Oracle pointed out, you might do well joining a project with other mappers and improving from criticism and experience.
