Uh.. i thought it was normally blue, Oxygen causes it to turn red.

"Blood is always red. However, when it is deoxygenated, it becomes a darker shade of red. When it is oxygenated, it is bright red. Veins appear blue because the tissue on the outside of the vein is a bluish color. The blood on the inside, however, is always red. "
