It's obvious however.. you would rather take the word of wiki than actually try it for yourself.You say it's the facts, but all you've got as proof is that you've "Saved your favourite BMP file as PNG".I generally don't take people's word as a 'plain fact of life'.Feel free to save a few bitmap images as PNG then run them through some image comparison software. I'm sure it'll take a lot of weight off your shoulders. For now, I don't think I'll be losing any sleep over it.There's plenty of information in the PNG documentation supporting my facts.
