Help me perfect this map… ("IF" you're bored.. because I am.)

This is supposed to be a dark eery kinda town.

What more do I need.. I literally came up with the idea for a gravestone as I was typing this. lol.

On-Topic: are those made on paint or did you draw it and you did a line draw?

Im not that much of a beginner.. I've been doing this awhile and I've just created my own cartoony style and thats what I'm going with. Only think I line drew in paint was the star on the shield. Obviously now I know that wasn't a good idea.

The point of this is to help me add stuff to the top map. I understand if someone doesn't like there and if they are not for everyone. I'm doing this majority for me. Its taking a while, but I'm actually going to finish a project I start. And if some of the gfx or color pallet is no good I can always go back and edit it later. Until that point lets play a game….

What kind of stuff does the top map need. :)

Sorry, not everyone is a good mapper, these maps aren't bad, well not to me, I just don't care for the graphics, I'd say keep mapping and doing what you feel fits what you want.

It doesn't really matter how long somebody has been using Eclipse. People are more skilled at some aspects of Eclipse than others. I've been on eclipse for a little bit shorter and I still can't map very well at all.

Anyway I personally like this map and the graphics style!

The colours are really bad, they don't blend together and the map just look cluttered with random stuff. To be honest I'd wipe the whole thing and try again. _Less is more_, so to say, you don't have to add a lot of random stuff to fill out the map, if you actually fill it out. Read up on some colours and so on, and then redo it, as well as actually make a world realistic, why is there a stoneway to **one** of the houses? Also, the houses looks really dumb, the front side looks like it's a side scroller, and doesn't look like it's made for a top down view, while the roof obviously is, even if the roof itself is way to sharp on the top, it's realistically impossible to stand on it somewhat steadily, which roofs are designed to be able to handle. Redo, do it right.

The problem with the map is that its hard to judge because of those tiles, if you wish to show off your mapping for criticism please use more standard tiles for learning such as RPGMAKER XP.

I wasn't actually showing off.. I just wanted to know what the town needed to make it seem more creepy… that is it. This whole thing has gotten a little ahead of me. haha. Could you delete this whole thing actually. This has turned into more than I wanted.
