N.U.K.E. want to know what way you will like to be penalized when your character die. Please comment and/or make suggestion.

A survival game should use perma-death. More realistic.

well i would do it where it depends on level

Lets say our over level 10 then it will bring you down to level 5, if level 20 down to level 10 and lose all items.

under level 10 delete charater

Well, that way is a bit more complicated, also the three options will determine what formula ill use to set up items and NPCs

I also agree perma-death, but it should be so that only level 10 and over gets deleted, that way noobs dont get ganked and deleted.

yeah if perma-death is selected, then user above lvl 10 will be the only ones to be sued

Perma-death is definitely good choice…  Its realistic and respective to human nature I like it XD

i dont really think perma death is a good idea.

think of it this way

Ive been playing this game for 3 months got my character super powerfull

i die

now i have to start over? this would really piss me off and i wouldnt play again

i've always thought it was an ok idea, I can't think of any game that's done this so I feel like it'd be pretty original.

Plus look at it this way, at the same time, everyone else's characters are dying, you just need to be super careful.

It's like playing online poker, you can get a lot of chips pretty quick, but it's always easy to lose them all in a second, but you can always make them back just as fast.

well if you use perma death, i wouldnt set the game up mainly for PVP.

any pvp game you should be able to die and nothing effect you really much

since the whole game play is based on killing other players would be really crappy i think

I suppose that's true.  Unless the leveling is literally super fast, so you can be like level 20 again in 5 minutes of killing.

Kinda like an FPS but turned into a rpg?

i dont know if you checked the WIP board but, i made the F.C.B for PvP battles (the only place where perma-death dont do effect) and no, the game is heading more to explore and survive than Killing a crew of NPCs
