Is this better now?

I really love the last rhythm, and I know the song may sound repetitive.

Advice?

Again, your missing the part were things speed up. It just goes the same beat then lowers and it goes back to the same beat. There needs to be a climax.

Actually, that's a little better.. But the tune needs to vary a little more…

Also, as others have said, try changing the tempo up a bit at different parts.

It also sounds looped... Which is never good.

And over usage of the same instrument (The saw) makes it sound boring and generic.

most electronic music, including house, techno, trance, electro, progressive, ambient etc ALL use loops, or samples lol.

Wow, sounds a lot better.  But like everyone is saying, change the tempo up.  Also try to layer your sounds just a little bit more.  For instance, those parts where u killed the drum machine and it was just 1 loop were boring.  Also, your loops are quite loop-like, so you may want to add some MIDI stuff in too.

Sytrus eh… try downloading some good vst instruments like Albino3, Vanguard, Nexus, z3ta, V-Station, ts404... etc... Sytrus sucks.

I have been working with those, except that they are harder to work with in my opinion. Ill try them again though…

despite what some idiots here are saying, you never just increase the tempo (also known as speed) of a song half way, three quarters or whatever through a song. but doing fade ins and fade outs of certain loops creates build ups, as well as adding in various drum patterns etc. also, you may want to have relaxed parts to a more speedy song, to create a downtempo at certain points. theres many things you can do. basically a song is like a story that you tell different parts, create a climax, end with a bang.. but heres the thing, noone can make you good at melodies, or how those melodies can mix well with certain beat patterns and other sounds. you just need to keep experimenting, use good sounds, and try to tell a story thats pleasing to the ears. if certain sounds come in too fast it can be too harsh. it needs to flow. anyways, to if you want to know how to do build ups ,etc better, then you need to look into how to do automation clips in FL studio, like a youtube tutorial or something. even if you right click on pretty much any knob in fl studio, you'll notice you can "create automation clip" it will create a bar on the bottom of the main screen that you can lower or raise, and this will automate the knob as the song is playing, to whatever levels you put it at in various parts. this way you can automate the volume control, automate sound fx, etc etc etc… anyways, hope that helps!

theyre all good fx. experiment with delay too, and the love philter is pretty cool.

youre starting to sound a lot better! wow. but, if I can make a suggestion, after the first highhat buildup instead of getting less layers, add more, like a bass thats playing the root note on the offbeat for example.

edit: this one kinda reminds of final fantasy :)

Amazing song. Tempo doubles about a third of the way in.

Brilliant psychedelic trance song. Tempo goes wonderfully screwy right around the three minute mark.

Those two are off the top of my head, I'm sure I could find others. You CAN increase the tempo of a song part way through. It actually sounds really great, when done right.

I'll give ya those. But it's actually not that common. When someone was saying build up the tempo, im pretty sure they meant build up the part with layers, etc.

> Heavyweight rocks. I wish I could make music like Infected Mushroom.. That song tells a story. And not a single part is looped or repeated throughout the entire song. It's constantly different. And the tempo changes quite a lot.

That's what my goal is once I get better.

New Track:

It sounds repetitive, but I tried to make up for it by adding in a few more automation clips.
