I see, your trying to restore it from the back up disc? If so make sure the BIOS set to boot from cd/dvd drive first then the HDD? If your BIOS are booting the HDD first you will never be able to restore the computer.

Since he deleted the partition he lost all his data that he had saved on that partition.

If he deleted the partition, he needs to re-install it from scratch.
