But until he replies to this topic or by PM I will continue to develop it.In the first 2 images I was just testing to see what one fits better as you can see it looks like number 2 is better.I know you can just open this up in the safari browser but I feel the need to have an app and other people want one too. Ruins of Hell Posted January 23, 2011 Posted January 23, 2011 WAP2 is a built in feature in SMF. This is just the same thing in Safari. There's nothing that really distinguishes it except the movement of the Reload button.Also: to make the advertisement fit the screen, turn Safari sideways. Works out nicely.

I thought you only have to pay the Developer Fee for the SDK.Anyway, I don't think this is a good app. Sorry but I wouldn't use it. I rather just use Safari.If possible, I think if you ask permission to have the Database info and make the App pull the data from it and display in the app, it'd be better. The only problem is, someone could take apart the app, get the Database Info and kill the forum.Sincerely,Rithy

Someone could accomplish the same thing by bookmarking this website.Problem number one is it's in the App-store guidelines that anything emulating Safari with no other purpose will be turned down. So this probably won't make it.Problem two is the fact that it looks terrible, you could have the best app in the world but if it looks bad Apple will turn it down but I'm sure you realized this already.Problem three is the ad, but you already mentioned this.In short: too many issues for something almost guaranteed to be denied, not worth it

There's no way I would release an app of this quality. @Marsh I only pay $99 per year for the license I can publish as many apps as I want there's no extra costs.

digibattle Posted January 25, 2011 Author Posted January 25, 2011 It does have the PM area but the colours and theme will have to be done by someone who can edit the mobile website. There's all sorts of things I can add to this app not just displaying the mobile site. Also it would be better if the ad was removed from the mobile version or sized down because it's ruining the page size.
