A link I posted today

I received a email saying I was warned because of a link i posted in the shoutbox earlier today,the link was to a video from a security camera in china where a child was run over by a van then 6 people just walked around the child and did nothing to help.
First i was not posting this to make fun of it. This is a horrible act and the people who did this should be shot along with the idiots who just walked by without doing anything at all.That was my purpose for for posting it in the shoutbox.there has been other things posted a swell in the shoutbox that has nothing to do with gaming also. I will not be posting anymore on eclipse or in the shoutbox as well. Thank you for your time on eclipse and i thank everyone who has watched my videos over the years as well. :huh:

Instead of merely making a topic and leaving you could have pmed the administration to solve the issue. A warning is just that and effects your forum experience in no way. If you simply pmed someone the warning could have just been removed. Also the link would have been better suited in a topic with a not safe for kids tag.

I know your admirals dad. But your a grown man. You went about this the wrong way. Warnings are not a big deal just a simple reminder.

I thought he was simply apologizing for posting/advertising on the shoutbox and everyone who didn't want to see it or was offended or something.

It doesn't look like he's saying it's not his fault, he doesn't deserve that warning, blah blah and cry about it like most of the 9 years old here.

OMG I saw the video he posted in the shoutbox.
At the moment I was programming on a project, I couldn't work anymore on it, I went to watch TV.
Damn, you know I am not the person who have emotes/feelings and those shit, but that movie really hurt me.

Edit: I got many warnings, but I like warnings xD.

That video is NSFL. Not Suitable For Life. I have no idea why you'd post that on a community made up primarily of young teenagers. Hell, the older generation probably don't want to see that kind of stuff, especially when we've got so many people with young children.

Posting your 'Home Tips with Jim' videos is one thing, but porn, gore and other such offensive material isn't suitable at all.

You said that you've seen other people post material similar. If you do then report the post or contact an administrator. We can't keep an eye on the shoutbox 24/7.

I do want to apologize for creating any rifts with Admiral's dad and the community but as Robin mentioned,  we are "a community made up primarily of young teenagers" and they do not need to see that stuff. I honestly don't remember saying I would ban him, but probably meant that those actions repeated could lead to a ban?

excuses/explaining/ranting aside, If he wants to be here and will not post stuff like that then I would not oppose dropping the warning. Judging by age, I would believe the point has been made and the entire event can be put in our past.
