What a bunch of jerks in this topic, people who don't know shit about Pixel-Art and can't do better.

I think it looks fairly good :), its a great paperdoll base. A great simple shading for easy animation.

For the new sprites.
The animation is meh, also the face should be lowered for perspective. Well actually there isint much perspective at all, i assume the game is a top-down RPG right? In that case he's laying on his back and flapping his arms and legs looking at the sky.
It still works tho, but like i said.. to fix the "looking at the sky" illusion i'd lower his face and head so he isint looking right at me and instead whats infront of him.

You're at a fairly good start, animation is tricky but its a good attempt.

Its not harsh at all. I haven't fixed the "skipping" because I _haven't got there yet._ You telling me in everyone of your posts isn't going to get me to do it faster. In fact, I think I'll edit the legs last, once everything else is how it should be.

Then you shouldn't have re-posted a slightly modified version of your sprite performing the same walking pattern. That gave the impression that it was your "2nd-go" at the walking cycle, in attempts to stray away from the so-called "skipping" we labeled it to look like previously.

Instead, you should have posted something pertaining more to an aspect other than the walking cycle, to demonstrate that you were working on something else at the moment and didn't care to perfect the animation at the time.

But, hey… That's just me.

Well now you know, I don't fix all of the problems all at once. The reason I didn't make what I was
working on more specific was because you were being annoying enough to make me forget.

I like the sprite base. Good choice of colors and the shading is done well. The only criticism I have is on the walking animation. You need to remember that when a person is walking when they step with the right leg the will put their left arm forward and right arm back. Vise versa for the left leg.

Edit: Looked again at the walking animation and noticed that is exactly how you have it. For some reason it still looks odd to me though. I know you said you haven't gotten around to it yet I just thought I would put my opinion out there.

I'm going to end up fixing a few base related things, and completely restart the walking frames.
