i'd hate to say it but here it is: Eclipse was an engine for its user friendliness and a little bit of features. Not everyone has vb6\. People can't really change stuff with "Test Eclipse" without vb6\. The .ini's are a simple way to change the way things work with needing nothing more than a text editor. Do what you want, but imo this would destroy the principles of eclipse
