But for me glitchy asian mmo's just aren't my cup of tea, I'll gladly pay for a well crafted MMO if it's worth it.

Don't bother unless you feel like spending a looong time modeling, texturing, coding, animating, etc. etc.

I wonder how long it will take for it to print out something of basic size like a cup or a box.

You could do it sort of like Mabinogi. You get a job do a little task, turn it in and get your pay. Then you'd wait a certain amount of time for the next task of your job and then you get paid after doing that. etc. etc.

Whatever the size, and placing of your sprites the paperdolls should be the same size and placing. It would be like making another sprite, but without the actual sprite there it would be the item the sprite would be wearing such as a hat.
