  1. I actually really like how the latest looks. The buttons overlaid on the image make it more like a background image rather than a foreground image, which I think suits it much nicer, in my opinion. :)
  2. Seconded on that. I like the first better. As another note, the whole thing seems rather big, in my opinion. You only have 2 buttons and a title, which take up about 1/4 of the space. Consider making the background an actual background. Tone it down a bit more, and place the buttons over top the image, rather than out to the side. It's just a thought, though. Might be worth at least a try to see how it turns out.
  3. Recently started back up as F2P, and gave Dungeoneering a try. Despite the fact that a lot of people criticize it, I think it's one of the more fun activities on Runescape, and most certainly one of the best for free players. I really like the Roguelike element of it. It's annoying that you have to run it over and over to accrue the experience to be able to do anything worthwhile (the crux of any MMO), but at least it doesn't feel like a grind while doing so. Name's "Zero Torrent" if anyone wants to add me. I won't likely be purchasing a membership anytime soon, and I'm unsure how often I'll be online, but if I'm online we can chat or something. :) [![](http://www.rsbandb.com/sigs/sig6/zero_torrent.png)](http://www.rsbandb.com/) Here are my stats. I generally play in World 113, the F2P Skill Level 1000+ world, so I can avoid the low levels. I'm just cool like that.
  4. Private servers are against the rules. @Sir: > **2.1.1\. Server emulation or private servers.** > > Server emulation and private servers aren't allowed on Eclipse. In most cases they are against the EULA of the game they're attempting to emulate. As of such and to save us some research work we don't allow any private servers on here. Such discussions should be held elsewhere.
  5. Trustedwebspace sounds untrustworthy, in my opinion. xD
  6. Actually, looks like the download limit is more lenient than I thought. It shouldn't be more than a couple hours, if things continue smoothly. Edit: All files complete. Once I give them a good test, anyone who wants them can contact me about acquiring them. Edit2: All files packed and ready. Locking this up. :)
  7. Older versions of Eclipse only support 10 tilesets. You'd have to edit the source code. Alternatively, Eclipse Origins dynamically alters for multiple tilesets. You could give that a try, if you're interested in it. Either that, or reduce the amount of tiles you're using. You can combine sets and get rid of duplicate tiles. I highly doubt you'd need 50 full tilesets. How big are they each?
  8. I actually did a torrent search earlier and couldn't find any. =o They require an online authentication to even play them, so I imagine they aren't popular piracy targets. Edit: I found them tucked away in a rar file in the underbelly of the internet. Unfortunately, it comes bundled with the whole game series, and you have to purchase an account to download a certain amount of files a day. So, in 4 days or so, I'll have them. xD If anyone needs them after that, contact me.
  9. I've recently reinstalled Neverwinter Nights, and went to reclaim my Premium Modules, but due to EA buying out Bioware, they've discontinued selling or hosting any Atari products, which include the Premium Module downloads. As I've already paid for them, I'm pretty sure I only need the .mod files (as the last patch of NWN gave all the hakpaks for these mods), but if you have the installer files, that'd be great too. I had all the mods, so if you know where to download any of them, or if you have any yourselves that you'd be willing to send, I'd greatly appreciate it. :azn:
  10. Spyro for GBA _is_ 3D. Isometric 2D and isometric 3D are both possible, but much different. Dear lawd, what have I started. xD Just one comment about 3D Eclipse and poof! Derailed topic! @Sir: > An example that anything is possible? Unfortunately, in VB6 anything isn't possible. After a while, you'll reach the so-called VB6 "glass roof", whereas you won't be able to add more functionality to your application without a lot of knowledge of the inner workings of VB6. Within reason, of course. Nothing you'll ever need for Eclipse will be too much for VB6. @vitinho444: > I cant find it.. and I search on entire project, im using ES xD It's in there. Look for "Public Sub Packet_SayMessage".
  11. Find in the server source where it says: ``` Call MapMsg(GetPlayerMap(index), GetPlayerName(index) & ": " & Message, SayColor) ``` And change it to: ``` Call MapMsg(GetPlayerMap(index), "[" & Hours & ":" & Minutes & "]" & GetPlayerName(index) & ": " & Message, SayColor) ``` As for the 3D, that was just an example. Trying to make Eclipse 3D would be dumb, although it is possible.
  12. @DrNova: > Damn the library and their bias against Flash (and other plugins) > > I need some affirmative action here.. Someone needs to remake this game with librarians as the enemies. :) That would be pretty affirmative.
  13. @Marsh: > Anyone else have a completely differant idea coming into this topic? And yet you still clicked. ;) Something interesting to note, though, is the size of your tilesets. Having a single 10 MB tileset or ten 1 MB tilesets are totally different. The ten smaller files compress much smaller than the 1 large file.
  14. It's not Eclipse, but something like that is possible. It's the source code, dude. You could make Eclipse full 3D if you wanted. Anything is possible.
  15. Hmm, that's odd. I've compiled many times on Vista without error. I guess it depends on your system setup.
  16. The only reason you'd get that error is if you don't have GetPlayerAccess. It's in modDatabase. I assume you have that module, correct? I just compiled a fresh source with no issues.
  17. I voted "no", but damn you, Renzo. Now I want a sundae with nuts. xD Subtle. *glare*
  18. Plus then it'll be Fan Club DEO, which is almost like Dio. :)
  19. @dugor: > lolololz Don't post things like this. One word posts, especially those without any _real_ words, are considered spam. @varinyc: > Who wants to join? I'm in. Been a long time fan. ;D P.S. Dear God, my eyes! Yellow on white! D:
  20. It all has to do with your graphics. If you have several 10+ MB .bmp files, that adds up quickly. My tip to you is to reduce your usage of so many tiles, items, etc. I've packed up a client just now that's under 1 MB because every single tile on the sheets we have is used. We don't include a tile if it's not needed.
  21. Yup. It shouldn't be there at all.
