It's not the shape, just the trunk and roots look… er-weird. i dont think theyre too weird.. look at zelda lttp trees..the trunks look weird, but in a fun way .. anyway i still think the height of the leaves has a lot to do with it.. and the trunk might use a little less shading in certain parts or just lighter shading, its a bit hard to tell

    personally i think the tree leaves height in the original (lower) worked better with the perspective.. plus most trees dont have their leaves way up on the tree.. but thats just me

  7. attack sound fx are not working.. they only play when an npc is killed.. any help is appreciated

  9. @Eragon2589: > the only sound you can hear is the one of the animations when you attack…so the most easy thing is create an animation called "attack" or something with a slash anim and then add the anim to the weapons (i dont know if you can create an animation without image) yea.. the animation sound fx dont work right.. if i set a sword to have animation "attack" and set that animation to have an attack sound.. when i hit a non-friendly npc no sound is played until the kill hit.. i didnt change anything in the source that would mess it up.. test it for yourself and see… edit: turns out eclipse nightly had a sound fx bug already.. so im gonna look for a fix on the forum

  11. when running a parallel process, if you use ctrl on the event it runs the parallel process again in the middle of the procedure.. just thought id point that out
  12. i noticed the attack sound fx dont work for players, only an npc.. i have tried setting the sound in the item editor and animation editor but nothing.. for some reason it plays the sound only when an enemy is dead, or the weapon is equipped…

  19. theres simple fix for walking through events.. make the same tile attribute block or npc avoid.. problem solved edit: this only works with events that dont have a move route though
  20. now this needs to be done so that u can debuff enemies, npc's can use them and have spell icons show up on the main screen when youre buffed or debuffed… then it would be ub3r ;-) not sayin im gonna do it of course

    @Yven: a few critiques if i may.. the bushes should be more round, less squarish.. those black extra pixels from the tree etc dont add anything, just do an outline and put your shades inside… if you want them to line up properly you have to learn how to use a grid in whatever program you are using.. these look to be 16x16 resized to 32x32.. so you need a 16x16 grid.. and when resized 32x32.. hope that helps
  22. is there a way to remove shadows under characters? mine are 32x32 and it looks like theyre flying lol.. either that or a way to have them directly under my sprites instead.. edit: nvm again lol.. i just made a blank .png for the shadow to "remove" it
