  1. I haven't touched any structures, yet. If you're using a base EO3, or any other engine that's also not changed the structures, you can just copy and paste 'em in. If they have changed it, then, you can either do one of three things; 1) Add the commits to your own engine. They're as commits and not incremental updates for a reason, so that they're accessible for users to pick and choose what they want., 2) Wait for me to make a multi-purpose converter, or make your own (Or use Alatar's one), 3) Manually port the changes. If you tell me the engine you're using, I'll be able to tell you if your data is convertible, and if you feel that you just want to add the commits to your own engine, but are having trouble, just PM me, and I wouldn't mind pasting them in for you. ;>

  3. Neither. When I say try out other engines, I mean, base EO2, EO2.3, EO3, etc. Not EA, DE, etc.
  4. Try out several other engines. If they suffer from the same latency issues, then you can safely say it isn't EA. I understand that above you said it didn't happen before, but try regardless.
  5. I read that, and I should tell you: that's not a bug. The taking away label wasn't made to check if there's less of it; that's what conditional branches are for. Although, if an option to check for items doesn't exist (Lemme go check.), then I'll add that. As for ACTUAL bugs that I find, then, of course, they'll be fixed.

  7. Of course I will. Although, if you're hoping for server updates anytime soon, you will have to wait, I'm not touching the server until I deem the client at an acceptable state. And, I wouldn't move it over just yet. If you really do want the things that ER offers, just check the commits for both Eclopti and Eclopti Rekindled, and copy the stuff that you need from GitHub.

  9. That's fine, and nobody expects you to do it, but please, if something doesn't do something, please don't say it as if it does. It does misleads a lot of people - there are a lot of oblivious people here, and they deserve to know how something functions to know what to do in future - and generally causes a lot of arguments over function, as the last page shows. Now, I don't say this much, but, carry on with your attempts, your improvements to EA are really showing, especially compared to earlier builds.
  10. Not maybe; it isn't. If you properly buffer and render everything (such as buffering rendered tiles, etc), resolution should never be an issue.

    The forum is scheduled to have another go at it, frankly, it is bloody ugly, and the service issue is more to do with the current lack of projects. When we do have some more done, it'll start to fill up! Thanks! ^.^

If I do find anything that can be improved, I'll post it. Also, you may wish to consider layer options in the particle editor. (Or can that be set from the map editor, already?)

You know fully well that you can't get Automation errors while in-game, they'll pop up as "unrecoverable errors". _(Yes, I take loads of cheap shots at you, but hey, at least they're meaningful and true, eh?)_ You also know fully well that if you were to get Automation errors at the startup, it's nothing to do with the engine, it's DX. So, like I said on the shoutbox the other day, when you made the exact same claim: **try again**.

  22. It's not a matter of being lazy, it's a matter of finishing it and the other things that I need to do beforehand to actually carry on. Even in my own project, it's still unfinished, and god forbid the result if I release an unfinished and potentially flawed class (Still functions well, though. ![:P](http://www.touchofdeathforums.com/community/public/style_emoticons//tongue.png)). Give me time to iron out the bugs in my own project, most of the stuff in there is ending up in Eclopti, anyway. ![:P](http://www.touchofdeathforums.com/community/public/style_emoticons//tongue.png) Plus, be patient, I'm not obliged to do anything to your rate of work, I have my own life and own A-Levels to put up with. ;>

Just because it's not been done, doesn't mean it's not been wanted. If you really think that much of not needing to optimise things, then, go ahead, nobody really cares. Don't bash those that are making an effort (Especially as I do see this as a bit of a personal attack), especially when they're getting nothing from it.
  24. Lemme test it. Just tried it, and it works perfectly fine (Gah, hate it when things like this happens.). Have you got the latest commit, because I recently fixed a small thing that I overlooked by not sticking the surface timer into RenderTextureRects, so it's quite likely that you just haven't got that, if nothing's rendering on the floor.
