  1. Do you think you could do a male in ragged armor with a torch? Maybe a mossy/cracked stone background, if you wanted.
  2. He is helping you, this is an unstable and seemingly dead version of Eclipse. I suggest moving to Eclipse Origins Fixed and to find a programmer/add these features yourself.

  4. Soul uses upside text. It is very effective! Bluefroggy09 is too lazy to read and leaves the thread.
  5. If I were you, I would post in the official Eclipse Chronicles Update 11 thread.
  6. @Grovvycko: > OK. I see. > > So with files to send: > Autoupdater: > .exe, Data Files folder > Client: > .exe, Data Files folder > > If I am not mistaken. > > So exactly _how_ do I send it to people? You only need one data files folder sent with everything. You can send it to people by uploading a .zip of the folder containing everything and sending them the link.
  7. I love the style of these, they are very nice!
  8. @Grovvycko: > OK ummmm if I copy/paste the files I was told to put into the Client Folder to get the Autoupdater to work, then it'll replace my game's Data Files/SRC folder. Is that supposed to happen? Or am I missing something? You can hand add the files, instead of replacing them. DO NOT replace the src files for the autoupdater with your client ones.
  9. If you could please be more specific, I should be able to help. I currently have a working auto updating program in use.
  10. This is a little off the main idea, but you don't need to send your src folder with the package to allow your game to be used. The src files are for you and any developers you have.
  11. Well, you see, the client doesn't need installing. It is very much stand-alone, outside of the runtimes and data files. What I'm saying is that the client doesn't really need to be installed. You'll have to just live with having your users install the runtimes before they play. About you needing a coder, this is not the correct place to ask that. @Sherwin: > Can i use them? if yes thank you… Make your own following my instructions, it's very simple and takes about five minutes for a good quality, custom logo.
  14. It's copy and pasting, you don't need to be able to program to copy and paste.

Your icon must first be in a .ico format. It must also be using 24-bit color, or less. Size must be 32x32, or 16x16.
  16. Download VB6 and edit the source code using it. Editing the client and server with those tutorials is very simple. Sometimes doing some of this stuff yourself will feel a bit more rewarding and it might actually save you time. Think of it as a learning experience.
  17. On a more serious note, without being trolled by butt hurt people. I like Lukin's idea and concept of where things should go. Dolan, I like the color scheme chosen for this HUD. Hopefully this turns out well and is decided on to be ergonomic and easy to look at. HUD still reminds me of Kingdom Hearts ;)
  18. @Yumi-chan: > Jcsnider sorry but your expectation for talent centre post approval is too low Agreed. To the op, this sounds like you want others to do all the work for you. Quite frankly, that is not how one develops a game of his, or her own.
  19. @Dolan: > Ew, no. I see that its similar, but Kingdom Hearts is terrible. > > What I'm gonna do is mix what Marshy suggested with what I said I didnt want to do. I think I can make it look good. Kingdom Hearts was an instant classic, I'd hardly call it terrible.
  20. The experience bar moves, but the experience/experience doesn't update.
