  5. Sure its nice :) but not possible with paint :) Use some brushes and textures and you got those results :)

  9. I think no becasue the only the Server do anything. ther is NO SQL Code in the Client. You can try it in the login but i bed you can't inject the DB!
  10. Hmmm! First: I don't try it with the EO 2.0! Because i do this for EO 3.0 :) Second: You know that this only work with the myBB i post!? Because this forum use the easyest salt i found. Other Boards use antother salt method. Third: The sqlAddUser is not finished yet because i delete it because the user MUST register in the forum! Same with sqlDelUser
  11. sqlGetSalt only got calles when user login! So when you got the error before there is something missing. But you only need the 2 DLLs IN your \server\ folder and the refernece to the MyVbQL.dll which activate the "MySQL Visual Basic API v2.0.0"

  13. Not as easy as is looks like! :) Only draw the Inv is not all! You must draw the items, drag and drop, and infos etc… :) But i create a gui system later! :)
  14. I would recommend to you to use textures for your work!
  15. HTTP Requests? Thats not a good idea! VB6 has MySQL support and its really easy. Only thing which takes time to find the value of in this case items, what htey are and how to save in the db… But after some work this now go faster.
  16. Via MySQL is MAYBE a little bit slower. But to start a server i a thing of secods… The GAIN? Is my last sentences in my first post ;)
  17. At the moment outsource all (items, npcs, animation…) in a MySQL Database. Its a HARD work but it works. I takes some time till i finish all. I only change the Server Source. I don't touch the client in one row. At the moment the Server and the Client can read the items out of the DB. The values works in game and so on. Next for me is to change the save, delete and add function for the items. NPC, Animation and so on follow LATER... :) I attach some screens! NO FAKE... When this is finished it is possible to show the Game Info like Items, NPCs on a Webpage. For something like Itemoverview or description of NPCs... :P Another thing is maybe the Websiteview which show the characters on the server...
  18. Yes this is because the map is smaller than the resolution. If you use higher resolutions it is good to maker all maps minimum the maximum resolution :)
  19. Did you do all in Way 2? Also add the Private Sub ComboResolution_Click() Is the Combobox filled with the 4 resolutions? Does he anything when you change?
  20. Search for "Direct3D_Window" there are only one declaration ;) Maybe you have another comment behind or something…

  23. Hi guys! Sniders 3.0 is very nice so far… And there are much pretty good modifications out there. But what is still missing? Any ideas what EO still miss? Hope we got some ideas... :) I have time and much fun to code :)
