A more interesting cave?

So I have been working on just a small transition cave from the human city of Marce to the orcish outskirts. Honestly it looks sort of boring. I'm not the best mapper and I would love tips to improve it.

Indirect link because it is a full screenshot.

As I said I know it's boring lol  :P  what would you suggest to make it look more natural? And I didn't use image tags because it's huge, I didn't want to blow someone's screen up.

Make it look random.

Caves never look so simple, unless its a MAN CAVE!

Make the walls of the cave more curvy, use fewer of those two block tall spires. Find some more rock tiles that you can spread out in the cave. Try terracing your cliffs so one wall has little lower cliffs jutting out of it. Google RMXP caves if you need some more inspiration.

I've tried to make the cave look more curvy, but it ends up looking choppy. I'm not sure how to make a large map look smooth. I used XW for a number of years and if you are familiar with that engine then you will understand why I can't map large areas well lol.
