None...The best is with which you learn, if you learn Maya first its the best for you ^^You can do with Maya, 3Ds Max and Blender the same the only differece is the Interface and the Extensions...Blender is really easy to learn if you don't learned anything other first..Maya is the second easyest and then 3Ds Max because i dont like the Interface of 3Ds max e.c.t.Ill use for the Toony things Blender because its easy to do and the Render/Colors are toony like hahaAnd finally sure ill do more if i got time ;-) (Im not an possum :-( lol )EDIT---Wanna an tutorial for this Palmtree in Blender?
