I am Sam Foster, a freelance composer for video games. I've just finished scoring an unannounced commercial game under production in Rennes, France. I'm inspired by game composers such as Jack Wall (Myst IV, Mass Effect). I score in all genres - ethnic, jazz, electronic, orchestral, etc.

For further information (demo reels, credits, bio, contact info, etc.), visit my site at: [http://www.samanthafoster.net/html](http://www.samanthafoster.net/html)

Thanks!

Unfortunately I think you are too big for these forums. Most games on here never get finished and those who do are just free to play mmos made by people who enjoy spending their free time making them.

You could probably count on one hand the amount of projects who actually make profit with their game.

That being said, if your prices are very low, I know some people would be willing to pay.

Your work is great I wish I could have all those files ![:P](http://www.touchofdeathforums.com/community/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/tongue.png)

Hmmm… I see you included Electronic, this might not happen any time to soon, but after my Current project i was planning on doing a bigger one. The project is a Cyber Punk PvP based game that you could say would be kinda like tron crashed into .hack// where the game world is in a virtual inviriorment, including a player hub, warp gates, instanced PvP maps, and a massive digital world to explor and gather parts for you character.

Player equipment would be somthing along the lines of the CPUs from Hyperdimension Neptunia: Dark with Neon lines , while the major parts a "floating" off the body.

The game will still be 2D sprited, but the scale will be larger than the standard here, allowing better looking spties and effects.

But like I said, it's jsut a concept right now but hopefully i can gather mi resources and start finding people to help make it real. I think I might keep you in mind when that starts to happen. And to let you know the "Budget" for that project will be quite alot higher than the average budgets here, most likely a 4 didgit budget will be used instead of 2 or 3, But sorry if its not as large as like a professional budget.

Love your work, we @ Samu Games LLC [www.samugames.com](http://www.samugames.com) have a few projects on the go,

Our flagship title (launched over a decade ago and still going strong) - Artifact, is in the process of a massive update from version 2.2 to Artifact 3, a complete overhaul with new graphics, content and cross-platform/mobile/console support. Rather than develop such a massive task in house, we out-sourced to a small indie studio in Oklahoma. Once we receive it back from the developer we'll definately be seeking out a composer for it. You'll be the first person I think of!

We're also in the very early development stages of an online whimsical paintball shooter - would love to have some sort of whacky audio to this. We're not a huge company, 3 'indies' who have a passion for making games but all have full-time jobs and families.

Love your music and you have an awesome possum portfolio so I hope we can work together in the future!

I'll be in touch.

T^T ur classical show reel is calming… really liked it ![:)](http://www.touchofdeathforums.com/community/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.png).

you should give examples on how your prices are with a budget guessing. so people can see.

maybe you price groups of songs like 5,10,20\. so people can kind of understand.

lets say you got a person with 100dollar budget. how would you price it then?

some people wanna be able see some understanding of prices other wise might not wanna ask.

just a friendly input.

For indie developers, I have done $30-$50 per completed, approved track. So, in other words, instead of doing one big flat rate fee, I can work on a track by track basis. It is better on both ends. ( if a developer originally wanted 5 tracks and then suddenly decides they only need 3) - they can just pay one track at a time.
