vrage
Vista crashed like 16 times today..I was just working on some CAD files, when my monitor locked, and some strange oblique lines filled the screen. the display driver crashed and Explorer stopped working -16 times..I'm not very amused. Any ideas?

janpk
i use vista and its very stablei have ista ultimate 64bit,2x2,5ghz 4gb ram nowi tried vista on a lower computer ( 1ghz 1gb ram) and then it freezed many times so it could be due to your hardwarebut if your hardware is strong enough it could come from viruses or other bad softwarein general i think vista is more stable than xp now, but maybe you could give more information about your system

Reguba
Ya this sounds more like a hardware/virus problem then an OS problem
SkyBlue
Well, let's hope they fix those problems in Windows "Mojave", cause I'm the biggest Microsoft fan

shadowwulf
yes it is… lol.Vista is fine... its just a resource hog and many programs are still behind the ball with fully supporting it.But MS only lets you get Vista now so for many things, people are screwed.
