Jetblack Angel
Ever since I logged on here today I've been getting pop ups. One pop up made it look like windows was warning me from a virus and I could only click ok, where it started "scanning"; that's when I clicked the X button These pop ups are getting annoying… is anyone else getting these?Btw, I'm using Mozilla Firefox. Waffle
was it something named antivirus 360 or something like that? And mozzilla firefox is supposed to block viruses but it actually brings more viruses, and im using it to :P
Jetblack Angel
Yeah I believe it was something like that, telling me that Norton has found viruses and malware. But it just stayed there so I assumed it was for real
Waffle
If it is named antivirus 360 then **DO NOT CLICK ON IT, OR RUN A SWEEP WITH IT** it is a terrible virus that will completley destroy your computor, if its named that then you should get your computor cleaned immediatly. what was the name of it? Jetblack Angel
The pop up just said Antivirus 360, nothing else, and it looked like it came from Norton, but as soon as I clicked on it it started scanning. That's when I quickly closed it out. I didn't have enough time to read it because I closed it too fast.I'm currently running a scan to make sure I'm not infected with anything. Waffle
I had that before, ran a sweep, but it didn't pick it up. So i got the computor restored by a computor place…..
Jetblack Angel
Yeah but I dont understand why Eclipse is giving me pop-ups anwyway. I ran a quick scan and didn't pick anything up, but I'm running a comprehensive scan now. Nothing is acting strangely anyway.
Waffle
It might not be from eclipse, it can come from a range of things like download, searching, websites, wallpapers, screen savers, email attachments, even emails can contain it unmarked….. Jetblack Angel
Yeah I believe I have fixed the problem. I wasn't infected by the Antivirus 360, but there was something else causing this. I hadn't gotten any pop ups when I was browsing IGN though, so I don't get that, but it's over now. Thanks.

This occured on my desktop, which is WIndows Vista.
