OK, thanks guys! That actually helps. Knowing that the code could be changed (I'd need help with that) gives me a green light to go ahead and start spriting for my own game again. ^_^

The problem with the old sprites was the way the program drew from the animation sheet to do both walk and attack. On a normal RPG sprite sheet you have some thing that looks like this: > > > Walk right ^ ^ ^ Walk up < < > x Walk right/ x = attack ^ ^ x Walk up/ x = attack < < x Walk left/ x = attack v v x Walk down/ x = attack This system meant that any basic sprite set used the right most walk animation as the character or NPC's attack animation, and left you with only two cells for your normal walk. That's fine for me as I can make games around that system, but it still leaves things looking jerky and crude. What I want to know is if we now have a system/engine that uses a sprite sheet for _each action_. Awesome Walk Animation > > > Walk right ^ ^ ^ Walk up < < > > Stab right ^ ^ ^ Stab up < < > > Cast right ^ ^ ^ Cast up < <

And the new enine? All I need to know is how to make the sprites for each engine, then i can work the art around the problem. ^_^

Hi all, A simple question: Back in the day when I was trying to make a game the sprite system was all sorts of messed up. In the new game engine am I riht to asume the sprites are all fixed animation wise? As in, we can have different animations for different moves? Because if it's fixed I'm going to make a game bassed for the Crafty Girls.. eventually… I'll sprite for it, any way.

Hello all, I have returned again to this forum to show you all what I have been working on for the last three months! The first few times I heard my self I was very freaked out. I’m glad you like my voice. I believe every one can draw, even if it’s only stick people. So long as you have a feeling behind the art it will come out fine. I love my minecraft pigs some thing silly, else this would have been a lot worse. @ Dash Me or the pig? O.o’ I’m a girl! A GIRL!  I'm so glad they made it safe and sound. I was worried they would have an accident and come all cracked on the bottom, or squished. BUBBLE WRAP FOR THE WIN! Achievement Unlocked: Mailing Sweets! Your room is fine, too. It looks very "Nerd vouge". ^_~

Did they ever make it? I can't level up from this quest fully until I know they arrived.

Dark Chocolate is the only thing that gets rid of my migraines. But I eat a square of the bakers stuff, the stuff with out sugar in it. I grind almonds in to it, and add just a touch of honey so I don't gag. My doc thinks it's wonderful that that's what helps me, because the side effects of painkillers drives me crazy.
