xeross Posted April 5, 2009 Author Share Posted April 5, 2009 Hey folks,I've had numerous people say they are having trouble with the chat.So I've downloaded and edited an IRC client for use with our chat.Instructions.**1\. Download**First you need to download the chat client. [Click here to do so](http://files.x3tech.com/21/mIRC.zip)**2\. Extract**Just extract the file with winrar or with the default extraction thingie shipped with windows.**3\. Changing your nickname**After extracting open up ChatConfig.exe (or just ChatConfig) in the chat client folder.Now the following window will pop-upEnter your nickname in the box highlighted with red and hit the save button.A window will pop-up saying> Username Saved.Click OK, and move on to step 4**4\. Starting the chat client**Double click launch.bat or just launch(in the folder) to start the chat.The following will pop-upJust click Continue**Note: The less days you have remaining the longer it will take before the continue button is enabled. but you can keep using it even if you have 0 days remaining.****5\.
