Marsh
Elements that are weak against each other do more damage or less damage or etc etc.For Example fire is weak against water.

Guest
its confusing to, fire vs water, water vs whatever, also how would u set each others weakness? ive never used elements
YuraguKoto
There's a function in EE 2.7, set an NPC to be fire, and you use a water spell, there should be dmg increase in the case of non-scripted spells, provided you set things up properly.
The Oracle
in my experience, it would be used mainly for PVP. For example, the water sword would do more damage against the fire sword, etc
Patrick
So if you use a fire sword against a water blob or something it'll work better?
Admiral Refuge
@Mcnugget:> So if you use a fire sword against a water blob or something it'll work better?Yea, if your "water blob" is set to the water element.

symphonia117
yeah. i dont really like elements all that much myself. they can be confusing. like if you want to use light and dark… well then they'd be weak and strong against each other. and also i'm not sur if they're scripted into the main or hard coded but it'd be nice if there was an easy way to change how much damage increase/decrease is applied. preferably % wise. Patrick
I might not bother in Duckyz Online but probably will in Conqueror's Forge as that is your typical rpg style game.
Hippoman789
@☼verdrive:> Isn't water > Fire?> Thought it was Grass > Water > Fire > Wind > Grass, etc..how does fire beat water?and how does grass beat wind!?!

velgin
im kinda a noob but ive looked at them and it seems you set a npc to that element and you choose the weakes depending on what spell you choose in other words anything can be the others weakness and that you can set it but on the light and dark i would sugest make 3 elements or 4 that realates back to it!!!!!!!!!
