manbearpig
gah i need a website like http://www.freemmorpgmaker.com/Updater/
Admiral Refuge
@manbearpig:> gah i need a website like http://www.freemmorpgmaker.com/Updater/For something like this, you will need to get a domain, and a hosting company that offers FTP access, as well as directories as the above is setup.Once you have a website that can host a pure sub-directory, just use the FTP client to make a new folder (you can even call it "Updater", so your whole web address would be "www.mywebsite.com/Updater/", and add what is needed. Blue Sand
For people that need a FTP Server download this for using the Auto Updater-[http://www.goldenftpserver.com/statdir/stat.php?id=download](http://www.goldenftpserver.com/statdir/stat.php?id=download) When you use it your IP becomes the address. Also, how do you make it so the Auto-Updater will update more things past the 4 or so file limit? Admiral Refuge
@manbearpig:> yes but other people out side of your network cannot connect to itI'm sure if you forward some ports and connect it to your external IP address, it can work. If not, there are millions of other FTP servers that will do the job.
