eiliosdraye
Running it with Wine, on Fedora, so I don't have access to those tools. Rest assured, I installed DirectX 9 earlier, I have a 768 mb graphics card, 3.7 gigs of ram, and a 2.6 ghz processor, so I can easily run this. emblem
Hmm. Wine.I doubt you will be able to get it to work then, as DirectX is securely tied within the Windows Platform and there's no plans to write an OpenGL rendering system.
eiliosdraye
That's preposterous. I can get Team Fortress 2 to run on highest settings with Wine, so why would this not run well?
Marsh
ah, well i have no idea how you would get it to work on wine. Along with installing directx did you install the library file dlls? if thats even possible? Try manually registering ( if you can? )dx7vb.dll and dx8vb.dllkeep in mind team fortress was not made in visual basic a microsoft coding system. It's just the game.
emblem
I've been told far and wide, by many people, that DirectX was impossible to get running on Wine.If you actually succeed, I'll be surprised.@eiliosdraye:> If I get this to work, i'll be sure to post a tutorial. Please do. emblem
Maybe team fortress uses a version of directX which is less integrated into the windows api?
