Eggnog. In primitive times, it was known as ambrosia, the food of the gods.
Nowdays, we made ambrosia salad. Now THAT crap is gross. But eggnog? liquid win.

Eggnog and Ambrosia are completely different. >_>;

It's not certain, but Eggnog originated in England as Egg'n'grog (Rum), and was later shortened to Eggnog.

Ambrosia, in it's (I believe) greek use, originally meant food of the gods.
Ambrosia salad is gross, but Eggnog could be called the food of the gods. Hence, Eggnog = greek definition of ambrosia.

I assumed you meant the Ambrosia Custard or the Ambrosia fruit salad.

I've never really been one for ambrosia salad. Worked in a deli that sold it for a while, just found it kinda nasty.
