Of course, all these things you can get for free, but they're generally inferior.

eclipse.com isn't owned by us, and we don't give out subdomains or hosting… as far as I know.

Just go Google 'Free domain' and 'Free webhost' and you'll find something, I'm sure.

On a hosting site, like Robin said. You upload your game to Mediafire or filedropper or something, then you post a link to it on your site!

                      to download and make a MMOG (massive multiy player online game)

I think what some of you have missed is what he is sub-consiously wondering about. You will need to run a SERVER off your computer or a dedicated computer (regarded as a dedicated server). The client you will upload is either an install wizard (bit more complex) or a zip/rar compression of your client folder. It will need to be downloaded and expanded on your friends'/players' computers. This is not a web browser game creator.

In regard to costs, it is absolutely free to use Eclipse and it's complied materials (sprites, tilesheets, etc.) as long as you credit the developers of the engine and make no profits off of the game. If you use any materials created by other users, either on these forums or elsewhere, you must credit them and get permission to use them. Websites require a domain name, hosting space (a piece of a dedicated server where your website files are stored), and most likely pHp, MySQL and FTP access. These all will cost some money if you wish to do it correctly.

Also, the engine itself doesn't require previous knowledge of VB 6 or SadScript to run and use. However, it is advised that you learn these languages in order for your game to look different and improve upon the engine. Eclipse is a blank canvas and coding knowledge is your paint brush. Now go get the tools of the trade and make a work of art.

If you want a domain name, look up 'free domain' and you can make its address shorter using www.dot.tk.

Yeah but http://example.com/org

Yeah but http://www.example.com/net/org cost so if you didn't want a fully proffesional site then you COULD use a _http://example.webs/hostzi/______.com_ until you were ready to make it a **".com/org/net**" domain .In other words you'd use the **.webs/hostzi/______.com** domimain if you were'nt serious about making a *".com/org/net" website or you didn't want to pay any money cause * domain is gonna cost you .
